A high quality medium roast ground coffee, made from 100% finest Arabica beans, handpicked by small-scale farmer co-operatives like the Ormonia co-operative in the Sidama region.
The coffee farms are located in mountainous, rainforest areas at altitudes of up to 2,000 metres where electricity and running water are rare. The co-operatives help the coffee farmers get more out of their farming, not only by selling their coffee for a fair price but also investing the Fairtrade Premium in community projects. To date some of the Oromia co-operative fair trade projects have included: A primary school, a library, a clinic, boreholes for fresh water and roads.
