Leading nonprofit organization Zaytoun CIC was founded in 2004 to advance fair trade for Palestinian handcrafted products in the UK. According to the International Olive Oil Council, Palestine is known for its olives because it is the home of the olive tree (zaytoun in Arabic). Instead of relying on help, Zaytoun sources the ingredients for their delectable products ethically, directly supporting producer communities. Zaytoun offers a sense of Palestine while promoting ethical trading.
