The only Fair Trade, farmer-owned nut firm in the UK is Liberation Foods. They get their nuts from small-scale farmers and growers who control 44% of our business and come from countries like Malawi, Nicaragua, India, El Salvador, and Brazil. Since all of their products bear the Fairtrade logo, growers are guaranteed at least the Fairtrade minimum price for their nuts as well as a Fairtrade bonus for each kilogram of product they sell.
